But, I am thinking of writing a paper comparing tactics used in war to the tactics you use in a political fight.
I think they are similar.

No, they're not.
For one thing, the rules of warfare are a lot nicer Soldiers try to inflict enough harm on their opponent to make their opponent lose the desire to keep fighting.
Politicians try to destroy their opponent, and their family, and every one who knows them, every one who has ever said something nice about them, and people who haven't had bad thoughts about them.
Gimme a good old fashioned war any day. At least soldiers are humane.
And human.
I said a poitical fight, not an election. Besides politicians fight total war. I am thinking more of an arguement ment to destroy your opponents belif system.
I'd be interested in reading it.
Ok, I will try and work on it next week.
